David Zwirner’s new global headquarters in Chelsea, Manhattan.

The Challenge

David Zwirner is a contemporary art gallery with locations in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and Hong Kong, representing over seventy artists and estates. The gallery engaged Synergy, alongside renowned architectural design firm Selldorf Architects, to design landmark headquarters offering their 200+ New York staff the most advanced technology in an exquisitely designed setting, adjacent to the iconic High Line.

The Solution

Synergy worked with the gallery and other stakeholders to architect and integrate a leading-edge technical solution, comprising redundant multigigabit internet distributed using the latest Cisco Wi-Fi 6E 6 GHz technology, protected with advanced security, interfacing with IoT sensors for lighting, climate control, surveillance and and physical security.

Synergy designed and implemented intuitive conferencing and breakout facilities, comprising elegant Neat videoconferencing displays, mated to room-booking systems, and an integrated Sonos audio-visual solution.

In order to allow seamless hybrid working, Synergy migrated the global user base from Cisco Call Manager to a Zoom Phone solution, offering users the choice of softphone and Cisco desk phones.

Synergy executed a meticulously-planned relocation of the the New York userbase to the new headquarters over the course of two weekends.
